As an Official Supplier to the GC2018 Commonwealth Games, Isentia was engaged to deliver comprehensive and reliable media intelligence and insights services to The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) ahead of, during, and after the Games.

Our approach

Isentia helped to analyse and evaluate all media coverage up to, during and post the largest event to be held in Australia in over a decade.

The insights that Isentia provided helped GC2018 to identify key media markets, customise messaging and track sentiment. It was a valuable platform to track how GC2018 was being perceived in market by media, business and consumers, all of which assisted with high-level business decisions.

At Games time, Isentia representatives were embedded in the Games Communication Centre (GCC), providing real-time media monitoring services, which on several occassions alerted the GC2018 team to media and social discussions that both the GOLDOC and other partners needed to be aware of.
