CEO Blog: AMEC Awards 2012

I am writing from Dublin, where last night I had the pleasure of attending the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication's Global Communication Effectiveness Awards. I was here not only to take part in the 4th European AMEC Summit themed "Making Measurement Matter', but to represent 360m, Sentia Media's analysis and advisory company, which was nominated for seven separate reports across five categories.

The results were outstanding as we won seven awards in total, five for our media analysis reports as well as two individual awards. They are:

  • Best Use of Communication Management: Business-to-Business:
    Gold medal: Dairy Australia report by Melissa Hayes
  • Best Use of Communication Management:
    Silver medal: Not-for-Profit Greenpeace Australia Pacific report by Wade Featherstone
  • Best Use of Communication Management: Public Sector:
    Bronze medal: Families Commission (NZ) report by Ngaire Crawford
  • Best Use of Measurement for a Single Event:
    Silver medal - Families Commission (NZ) report by Ngaire Crawford and;
    Bronze medal - Greenpeace Australia Pacific report by Wade Featherstone

I was joined by Dr Kate Greenwood, 360m Senior Portfolio Analyst, who was honoured with the prestigious Young Professional of the Year Award, reflecting the enormous talent among our people. I was surprised but privileged to receive the Chairman's Award from AMEC Chair Mike Daniels for services to the industry, which I'm proud to share with my great team across the Asia-Pacific.

Today 360m can proudly claim it is the world's most awarded media analysis company. This speaks to the incredible level of service, skill, dedication and passion of our analysts' work for their clients across the Asia-Pacific. I offer them my warm congratulations. Well done!

John Croll,

CEO, Sentia Media
